If so, which mount are you using?

TIA

I'm not understanding the question. When I think M4, I'm thinking of the rifle, so I guess my question is what's an M4?

I think he's asking about the Aimpoint M4.

ah. the compM4 or ?

I use a Bushnell TR-25 on an AK and toyed with the Idea of trying it on my FAL, but have yet to do it. I guess I could toss it on there for giggles:

Does not co-witness with a DSA scope mount.

Me too. Co-Witness is not a big deal to me.

I don't care about co-witness myself, but it seems to be a theme on other parts of the board so I thought I'd throw it out there

From time to time I mount an Aimpoint M2 on my Para FAL with an
Aimpoint 30mm low ring on top of a DSA scope mount.

No co witness but am ok with that on FAL

I have a comp M4 and with out the riser it's still to tall!!  I run a Comp M3 with the low aimpoint mount and it's nice

This is also what I run, same optic/mount, it works well, but does not cowitness, I don't think you can get a cowitness with the DSA mount.

I think you will need a low ring to get a cheek weld. I tried a m2 with a ARMS mount. Perfect on a AR but way to high on a FAL.

Yeah the aimpoint low ring is the way to go and is the lowest possible solution AFAIK.

I just picked up a FAL my first and not my last DSA SA58
Took her to the range, was way high and realized that I needed a proprietary tool to adjust the sights

So I pulled my M2 off my bushmaster and slapped it on my FAL
at 25 yards was about 2 inches off I dialed it in and shoots fine.

I was considering an aimpoint micro or an ACOG when I get my Obama money.

You can't go wrong with an Aimpoint durable and user friendly

Old pic, but here's an ML2 in an ARMS mount for height reference. Obviously it didn't cowitness but it worked out pretty well:

I run an Aimpoint 9000SC-2X on my Imbel.  Works very well.
