Hey guys, I have a STG-58 that I built during the ban and am interested in making it into a para, is it possible without changing the upper (its a california reg'd assault weapon, so I can't do that unless I put a bullet button & whats the point)?

Thanks,

Erik

Yep, it's doable. New para lower, para bolt carrier, and para receiver cover. DSA sells a para kit that will do exactly what you want. If you want a shorter barrel obviously you'll need to take your old one off.

the correct way would be to get he Dsa kit with nose and do the para cut. this is what I did with mine. or just get the one without the nose and slap it on.
