Got a copy of Centerfire Systems Inc. Nov-Dec Catalog and notice they had an FAL in it for $679 (It's also showing on their website HERE.

Anyone ever deal with them by chance? The add in their catalog says about the same as what is stated on the webpage so it doesnt give me a clue on how good the rifle is. Been itching to get me a .308 rifle, just havent decided between an FAL or AR10. Also lack of close-by reliable range to shoot is also an issue. Just in search mode right now because I still have to get my Browning Cynergy out of lay-away.

judging from the price its probably some century (or similar pos) , but youd never know if it was some diamond in the rough

Buddy of mine has purchased one, fit and finish looks pretty well on the one he got, he hasn't fired it yet, but it does look good.

I usually put AR's together but became interested in the FAL.

I'm just getting into FAL's, and just bought a kit that I'm going to put together over  the winter, and hopefully have it up and running by spring.
