If you were to mount a EOTech to the top of one of these do you get a decent cheekweld?

funny you should ask!
I tried using an Eotech, and the cheekweld SUCKED without a 1/2" pad. I'm currently using an Aimpoint in a low ARMS Q/D mount, and it's still a bit off--it's useable, but not as comfy as my AR setups and it took some getting used to. (I'm taking her pig hunting tomorrow!) ETA: hahaha! Ask for opinions, get 2 opposing views in seconds! ETA again: The really weird thing is that I really prefer the Eotech to the Aimpoint....go figure

nice rfile, i just got mine on order last month, the standard SA58. i was told 14 weeks, but hoping i get it before then.

This one's my personal favorite, OSW 11.5" barrel, short gas system, full rail, and the icing on the cake, a Gemtech HVT suppressor...

 Why, you ask? 1. Cheaper than the all-US made version 2. Better barrel than the all-US made version 3. Steyr parts are military contract with Austrian Army oversight and QA |

i had a chance to fondle one of these up in the gun store today, trigger felt like it was a 10lb+ pull, felt like pulling double action on my P229. is that something normal with FAL's? |

There are great after market accessories out there that will give you a better trigger pull. The lowest I ever heard was 5lbs.
Falcon Arms - I have the TRP springs w/stock DSA HTS and I'm happy with the pull. FSEUSA DSA #7 - I would not recommend this one, but it's an option. |
