I checked out new DSA STG58s at a local shop today.  They had several but I was quite dissapointed in the finish on them.

I know, I know, it's a battle rifle, it's supposed to look like hell but for the $$ I expected more.

So, with that, who makes the best finished and functional FALs?

DSA SA58s.
The STG58s are Austrian surplus kit rifles. They have a military grade finish c.1960.
If you want you can get it Duracoated from DSA. Or, have it sent to a good refinisher, like azexarms, and have it refinished in the color of your choice.

you can always have that "unsatisfactory" finish Duracoated.

+1, Well worth the money.
