before the last production ended they could be had for $225-250
imbels were still coming in then and selling thereabouts or slightly lower. today no DCIs are made and imbels are not imported, so aftermarket sales (of imbels) being offered often are skyrocketing beyond the cost of DSAs. haven't seen many DCI receivers for sale recently but if you found a new one i'd guess $275-325.

Word on the beat:
Century + DCI purchase = Decent Century receivers soon. Maybe? Would be nice to have (good) FAL receivers available for $250. |

Century bought FAC. FAC owned the molds that DCI used to make the Coonan recievers, now Century owns them. DCI needed to make new molds before they could cast any more recievers.

Imbel forged.
New production DSA cast. Personally, they're the same to me. Types 1 and 2 are much more pleasing to the eyes though

While older DSA receivers were milled from a steel billet, the current ones are made from forgings.
