I don't have the GP COP mount. I have a DSA scope mount. I have use the Aimpoint QRP mount with it and now I'm using a Lure low mount. Both work well and should work the same with the GP COP.

I don't have a GP mount yet either. I have a Tapco cover on mine and i'm using the cheapo scope mount that came with my AP, it puts it low enough that i can see the irons through my aimpoint.

haven't had any problems with my $35 tapco mount yet, solid as a rock.

Go with a QR mount. I prefer ARMS 22M68's.

Larue Tactical RAS II mount - you'll want the Aimpoint as close to the bore axis as possible to avoid cheekweld problems. The Larue has a good reputation and an adjustable locking lever. Also, don't forget that mounting over the ejection port may get your scope dinged by flying brass!
