Northridge had some recently.  so did Entreprise.

also, lookon the EE.  some show up there periodically.

i want to try some metrics in my L1A1 to see if it'll run with them.  much cheaper if so.

Anyone try metrics in there inch rifles?  It looks as though the retainer lip is smaller and may not work as well.

AFAIK inch rifles accept both metric and inch mags...while metric rifles only accept metric mags. am I right?

I think you're right....but does anyone know how the metric mags work in an inch rifle?

They lock in but may be a little lose. My inch cut Imbel works fine with most of my Steyer mags.

Tag for the info.

I could use some more L1A1 inch mags myself.
Metric mags will work in my Century rifle but they flop around alot.

I have a L1A1 built on on Enterprise inch receiver.  I runs with metric mags just as well as inch mags.

I got my inch mags form Northridge last fall.

About $90 for 5 mags with a canvas carrier.

Nice mags, all fit well and look to be refinished.

I have listed my seven inch mags on gunbroker.com, item no. 43541544.  I can end the auction early if no bids have  been made at that point.

Thanks,

Don't waste your money, use metric mags. The Brits used lots of captured metric mags in L1A1's in the Falklands. Argentina had no use for inch mags in their metric riflles.
