The SA58 is an all new gun, built by DSA on one of their receivers
The STG58 is a de-milled Austrian STG-58 "kit" assembled on a DSA receiver.

The muzzle device on StG58 rifles are not made to accomodate a bayonet. IMBEL flash hiders will and are inexpensive. They will thread onto the StG58 muzzle.

The DS Arms StG58A is the best value in the F A L world at present.

So do the SA58s. What is the reason that you mentioned that the StG58A have an all steel receiver?

I believe SA58s have DSAs "lightweight" aluminum lower receiver.

Sa58s do have aluminum recievers...but you can get there stainless recievers also....I went with the stainless upper, lower, barrel, cocking handle, and top.....stainless to me is the way to go stronger and hopefully it wont ever rust on me lol

Hold on there grkred. AR people often make this mistake.  The upper receiver on F A Ls are steel. There were a few aluminum uppers made by Williams Arms Co. These are ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE to use for rifle cartridge FALs.

The aluminum "receiver" on a SA58 is the trigger housing, NOT the upper receiver.
