Does the barrel have a groove for a sling band?  The band will rotate, and is perhaps the simplest way to attach the forward end of a tac sling.

If your barrel is cut to accept a bipod, consider the quick detach version from DSA.  Installs and removes in a couple of seconds.  A lot of guys remove the bipod to save weight.  YMMV.

Of course, the handguards must be configured to accomodate the bipod.  The OEM metal handguards, and DSA's composite units are so designed, and others may or may not be.
