I can't make up my mind! Any difference besides barrel length? Would a carbine shorter barrel cause much less accuracy then a standard? Or any other problems between the two?
thanks!

a shorter barrel won't necessarily cause less accuracy, just less velocity. and of course less down-range punch.
but much more muzzle flash! (my 16.5" carbine has megaflash)
if it will be your only FAL i'd say go full length, 18" at the shortest. unless you (like me) just have to have a .308 carbine.....then by all means get one!
