My first FAL really got under my skin, and now I NEED another, this time I want a DSA.

I want a full size 21" barrelled FAL for Service rifle matches at my local club, bambi hunting, and the occasional 3 gun match.  And, I managed to come scrape together enough cash that I could swing an STG58.  But I like the idea of an all new rifle, ala. SA 58.  If I wait 'til january I'll be able to swing the SA58.  But, I'm not very patient.

My question is, do I go ahead and buy the STG58? Anyone own both?  Is the SA58 worth the exta 400 bucks?

I've decided that selling a gun to buy the new one is not a reasonable option.  I'm going to put a mountain bike up for sale to cover part of the cost.

Thanks,
Wolffie

It's a personal choice, but for me, I couldn't justify the extra cost of the SA58 over the STG.  I'm extremely pleased with my STG.  I highly recommend them.  From an aaccuracy standpoint, my STG is good for about 2 1/2 MOA.  I have some groups that will go down to about 1 1/2 MOA, but I think 2-3 MOA is probably realistic.  I'm not sure how this compares with the SA58's?

How many US parts in the STG?  If I want to play around with the furniture will I have enough US parts left?

The StG58As from DS Arms are built from parts that are so close to being unused that you would have to be a really anal freak to be concerned with it.
