I plan on finally getting a FAL soon. I need a little "FAL 101". First off, I'm a lefty shooter. Are FAL's southpaw friendly? I've been kinda browsing to get as much info as possible and it appears that DSA STG's are the more popular? I like the looks of the carbine models so if and when I do get a FAL i'll go with a carbine, probably. Will FAL's eat cheap ammo as good as AKs? I could use some help or recommendations. thanks.

The DSA STG is a great FAL.  The only problem would of course locating a new one at the time.  Everyone seems to be out of DSA rifles and receivers.  And yeah the FAL will eat about anything however, I like to feed mine Aussie.

BTW does anybody know if the STG rifles that DSA assembles have matching #'s?  I bought a kit there once before and it was matching and I ordered one a few days ago and it wasnt.
