Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can anybody identify this m1 carbine rear sight?

It has an "R" on the elevation gauge. What confuses me is the range markers on the side. I have not seen any rear sight with that detailed range stamped on the side. Also, never seen the rear sight have the hash marks stamped on the elevation like that, I see sights with a screw and the hash marks but not it on elevation part itself.

That's because it's not an M1 Carbine sight.  It's an Remington 03A3 sight.
