Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - M1A Barrel ID

I have a 1997 Springfield M1A with a Stainless Steel Barrel. The markings on it are Genesco Illinois on right hand side and NM 308 SS on top towards the front of it. Does anyone know the manufacturer used then and who it was??
