CS1 is a great comic book series. I used to read it when I was living in japan 10 years ago.  Maybe i have to pick up a copy of the anime.

I'm just pissed that it wasn't subtitled all the way through. Isn't there a dubbed version?

I like bunny stew, but any bunny armed with an M14 earns some respect in my book.

I've heard one theory that the weird concept of this show stems from the fact that the Japanese word for rabbit is "usagi"  (USA GI).  Someone let me know if I'm wrong.

The depiction of Americans as rabbits is actually a pun on the Japanese word for rabbit.
The Japanese word for rabbit is "うさぎ," which can be romanized as "USAGI." USA + GI = USAGI.
