If you order them from springfield it will be a 20rd mag with alittle wooden block on the spring to lower the capacity

There was a guy on NJ hometown who was doing custom work cutting down 20's, but I don't know if he is still doing it.
IMHO I'd love if someone would just ship replacement mag bodies in that size (It would likely require very little capital investment) as I think it would be a good compromise between 10 rounders lack of capacity and 20 rounders bulk. |

Springfield stopped blocking the mags and now sells 15 round mags that are shorter than 20's. The picture on their site still shows the twenty length but a friend of mine recently ordered some and they were shorter.
