I use Rydol grease on the sears of my ar-15s. Is it OK to use on M1a or Garand sear?

Sears should not be oiled or greased. They should remain dry.

Do not lubricate the sear on any weapon.

Yup, that friction is designed in as part of the system, DO NOT ELIMINATE IT!!!
