I bought this USGI birch M14 stock at a gun show yesterday.  I apologize for the quality of the photos below but it's the best I could do with the camera I have.  The butt stock has a DOD cartouche and stamped into the butt plate is W-W and 11010263.  The photo below doesn't show it well but you can read "W-W" above the part number.  Apparently, Winchester made some replacement birch stocks after May 1964 and stamped the DOD cartouche on the butt stock.  

The top stamp is an unusual DOD stamp. I have a set of them and they are thought to be for artillery? Not sure about the second, but I do recall that International Harvester had a serial number stamp in the barrel channel of their M1 Garand's.

It was pretty good for M14 stuff.  I picked up a mint "take off" March 1961 Winchester M14 barrel.  The throat reading is 0 and the muzzle reading is 1/2.  There were bolts, firing mechanisms, operating rods, barrels, gas cylinders, 1960s USGI magazines, and a lot of small parts.  A lot of it was NIW.  I had to control myself so I just got the barrel, stock, butt plate and 400 rounds of 2008 Winchester 7.62x51 mm.

There was a nice birch USGI M14E2 stock as well as three NIB LRB Arms receivers, two M14SA and a M25.  Another dealer had a nicely built Armscorp M14 with a standard contour NM barrel and several SA, Inc. M1A variants.  It took extreme wallet discipline to leave with only what I did.  It was a delightful show.  

I agree it was a good show for the M1A/M14 guys. I walked with my first M4E2 stock and a bunch of spare parts for better than internet prices. Wallet control was difficult .

The 11010263 is the government part number for the wood M14 stock as drawn in June 1964.  Since production of the M14 had just ended, these were made as replacement spares.
