IF they don't work, Brownells will take them back. They are good about things like that.

Buy one and let us know - don't you have a nearby gun shop you could get one at so if it did not work you could return it ?

Yes, I've tried them. I bought three and they all worked flawlessly. I have six USGI 30 round mags, and the ones Brownell's sells are definitely aftermarket (the metal is not as thick, they aren't as heavy and solid as the USGI mags); but they are great mags for the range or for plinking. Like I said, no problems with feeding, they've all run 100%. Good stuff--especially if you get a C&R discount!

I really wish CProducts would make a Carbine mag! It can't be that tough to do and the Gov't made 6 million of the friggen things-carbines- not to mention the various aftermarkets......The mags have gotten stupid expensive for 60 year old surplus!

I had suggested it quite awhile ago in an email to them. I am glad to see that they are going to do this.
It really is outrageous that "good" condition 15 round carbine mags are $20 apiece now. Magazines made of modern materials, newly manufactured would be worth that but for a "shooter" paying that for 60 year old milsurp stinks. Wonder what they will make-15's, 20's, 30's? Really don't care as long as they are reasonably priced. |

I have 5 Carbines and one Mini-14. I need some decent mags at a fair price.
