I've never heard of them.

Unless you need to work around a state firearm reg or a hunting reg, the GI 15 rounders probably could be had cheaper than a special aftermarket mag at a decent gunshow.  That and GI 15 rounders are the most reliable mag for the carbine.

For hunting purposes, couldn't an owner just install some sort of block inside the mag to prevent more than 10 rounds?

As for the usual BS state magazine laws, well, the CoC prevents me from suggesting what you could do....

Pro Mag makes 10 round carbine Mags. Popular in California, I hear.

Actually, there are 10 rounders..have a few myself. Picked them up at a show and I use them when I'm on state game land ranges as in PA we can only have 3 rounds in a mag at a time or some bullshit like that.  So instead of using the 15 for it i use the 10 cause it just looks less menacing.  The Fudds don't mind the 10 rounders so much..
