I got this new Springfield M1A last month. Rifles been a terrific shooter so far. I recently added the Aimpoint and SEI mount.

Last night I finally added a real buttplate to the synthetic stock that came with it and while I was at it, I decided to give my painting skillls a try

Lookin' good! Now all you have to do is get rid of that neutered flash hider and get one with a bayonet lug.

Something like this? I'm a lefty, so I couldn't go with a leather lace-on. This one is neutral and sits right on top. Works pretty good.

Just curious...does anyone know of any other ambi or left-handed cheekpads out there?
