I saw a photo somewhere on this forum of an M1A/M14 sporting a Sage Aluminum stock, only someone had cut the buttstock off of a military M14 stock and attached it to the rear of the sage, in place of the collapsible buttstock.

I can't find it, can someone post a photo or a link here, please.

Try Fulton Armory's web site. They had a picture of that configuration.
I don't know that any were sold that way though...

Just a thought but as I recall the PRK legal Sage stock sport a Synthetic Rem 870 stock so it should be possible to get a Rem 870 wood stock from Midway.

You just don't get the pistol grip that way though.
