please help me find a new synthetic buttstock for my project.   i use to see one @ the SA website, but it is no longer offered??     a buttstock with a sling stud is much better   please help.

Not exactly new but if it's for a project then why not used GI? Fred's Stocks

ok thank you for your suggestion.  I might buy freds camo series.     what about a rubber butt pad?     what can you reccomend?   tnx

Midway USA used to have John Masen Rubber pads for the M14 USGI stock. Now it looks like they carry Pro Mag pads but they appear to be the same.

thanks for the inout.....it seems it is also the same HARD rubber butt pad Springfield Armory uses.
....what about some drop-in SOFT rubber buttpad?   any ideas?   thanks
