Does anyone know of a source for a true 5rnd mag for an M1A.  I just purchased an M1A and am looking for a flush fit Mag to go with it.  I know there are 10 rounders that come blocked so that only 5 rounds fit, but thats really not what I am looking for....Thanks for your time and consideration, in advance.hinking.gif

www.springfield-armory.com  Look for the M1A magazine, 5 round, Sporter model.  I have a couple of these.  They work great and they fit flush with the stock.  They're not fast to remove but if you need to go low prone it's the ticket.  I'm glad I bought them at $22.50 each.  The price is now $39.00 each.

Anybody have any feed back on the CDNN mags?  At like less than half of the SA price i'm tempted.  Also, just how hard is the mag to remove?  Once again thanks in advance for the repsonces.

I have a 5-rd flush mag, but the follower sucked.  Replaced it with USGI, now only holds 4

I have two Chi Com flush fit 5 round Mags. They work great. Good lock up and easy to remove. They are an excellent value if you can find them. AFIK, the only place to get them now would be from and individual seller. Unfortunately, I'm not about to let mine go.

+1 I bought two of them.

Come to think of it, I'll swap you both of them for one GI 20 rounder, each to pay shipping on the package they send out.

I've used them twice, not sure if I used one twice or both once. They worked fine for me, but removal is a little difficult.
