some composite material I 'borrowed' from work.. can't remember what it was exactly. I can say it was 'aircraft grade'.

Believe it or not the OD ducktape works. I just added a ever so small amount to both sides of the stock and not only does it cover the hole it just so happens to protect the stock where it slides in the horizontal weapons mount in the squad car. That's brilliant.
