Normal History Channel while eating and surfing.

What the guide says and what it is are two different things. Its the Classroom series.

Anyway, the were talking about the Chinese invasion of India, and they showed Indian soldiers with GARANDS!

I wonder when the CMP is going to bring those back?

Everything depends if the Garands were sold to countries or given.. if they were sold or given.. then we'll never see them.. unless they can be commercially imported... if they were loaned.. then we just might see them.. it all depends on the countries that they were loaned to, if they want to return them...

Cav-Vet,

Are you SURE the soldiers with the M1's were Indian???   The narrator might have SAID they were Indian, but might that ACTUALLY have been film footage of Pakistani's instead???

Just curious, knowing the proclivity of the History Channel for using the wrong film for a segment.

Best,
Swampy

No Im not sure.

I did have a thought of wrong footage, as I have noticed they have indeed switched some other footage back and forth.

Highly possible.
