I just bought one and a half M1 Garands.  One receiver/barrel with lockbar sights and time correct barrel, and one nice shooter.  I cleaned it all up, and I don't have a  clue what I should be using for lube.

Can I just use my normal gun oil (I use Eezox), or do I have to get some sort of grease?  Would automotive grease do for now?

Yes, grease, not oil.

I use the orig. military grease in the little cups, but any good grease really should suffice.

Here is a diagram of where to put it:

Enjoy the new addiction, cause thats' what they are!!

Grease in accordance with the picture, CLP on the rest of the moving/pivoting parts.
I use Tetra grease.

Try using the guts of our enemies.

Or maybe just Tetra grease.

Gas system grease/oil free.

Sorry, but I beg to differ.  The Army field manual on the Garand recommends several drops of oil (I use CLP) down the oprod toward the gas piston.
