Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which bipod to use on my M14????

I want to use the original stock.  I can drill out a rivit and replace with a threaded sling stud but my Harris is toooooooo long and will not fit with the sling.  I want to use the sling and a bipod.  HELP!  What do you think of a Versa Pod?

I too agree the M1A doesnt need a bipod.  If you are shooting off the bench get some sandbags.

I have a Harris, but it is rarely attached to the rifle.
It does come in handy when shooting pictures of the rifle though.
