My father painted the stock of my Springfield National Match, so now I just gotta save up for a 2-moa-dot Aimpoint, sling, gunkote the barrel, etc...

Dunno if you've played with ventilated handguards before, but be warned they are flimsy. Look cool as hell, but way more flexing and bending when handling the rifle for my taste.

Not to mention, if you try recreating the BHD Shugart/Gordon shootout, mirage will be pretty bad once the barrell heats up.Your call as to whether or not these things bother ya or not.

my advice is don't get the slotted handguard.  Mirage sucks.
