You have to buy them in lots, so 50 mags runs just under $25 each.

If your looking to buy some, you need to get into a group buy since checkmate does not sell them as single units.

Checkmate had a USGI contract sometime around Desert Storm I for M14 magazines, if I remember correctly.

Ah, here we go, according to Fulton ARmory:

Note: CMI was the last known military contract maker. (Circa 1990/1991.) This contract was reportedly done for the U.S. Navy for M14 deck rifles used during the Gulf War. According to Clint McKee of Fulton Armory, the quality of these magazines was not quite as good as from earlier contracts.

If we could get a group buy for, say 1,000 to 2,000 I bet we could get them pretty cheap.

I sent them an email for a price inquiry..........

ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL busy supporting our troops - Really  - How - by offering free musuem passes ? I am sure some of out troops would like to be using the Arsenal products but thanks to Clinton and Congress it is gone - however we can all buy Armory products.

Armory - Arsenal - I know those A words are all the same.

Just cuz they got a musuem doesn't mean they're shut down, RIA is still an active military post last I heard. I won't insult you by suggesting you might be thinking of the real Springfield Armory, which did shut down in '69 or 69. Nope, not gonna do that at all.
