The 5.56mm version for the M16 doesn't work.  Why the excitement over the 7.62mm version for the M14?  Probably won't work any better.

They're a toy, use it as such and you wont be disappointed.   I love my Cmag, it's as close to belt fed as I can afford.    Cant wait for one for the FAL.   I'll definitely have to put the bipod back on tho!

Mine works fine.  Who told you it doesn't work?  Did you have one that didn't work?  I'm just curious, because I have NEVER had a malfunction with mine.

In combat, it might not be the best thing, since you have to lube it with this stuff that attracts the fine sand in the desert, and there the higher chance of dropping it hard or banging it up against something.  I could see where that would cause some trouble.  But for civilian use, it should work perfectly.

I have seen them the 5.56 ones in use at local MG shoots, and dpmmn has a couple. They all seem to work great.
They are cool, impractical, but cool. I've got no use for one personally, but they still amuse me

Hey Chuck, they work fine trust me I have done some back to back Beta Dumps with the M-16 and never had a problem.

I am still a little leary of trusting one in a SHTF situation, but I am slowly being convinced that it could be great add on to any platform

Here is a video check it out Beta Dump

If they made one for the M1 would it eject a clip after each 8 rounds?
