It's between an ATN 4-12x60LU [info here or a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M1 with Illuminated Reticle [info here.

The ATN is $380.

The Leupold is $880 .

However, I am willing to spend the money for a good scope, I just need to know if most of the experts think it's worth the upgrade.

Speak, oh wise sages .

If you want a fair comparison, try two pieces that are identically priced...

Get the Leupy - but get the one with the M3 turrets instead.

I Leupold 6x20 on my NM M1A right now. Great scope but I have some trouble seeing out of it on anything over 12X. But then again I've always have had trouble seeing out of Leupold scopes(no idea why just never have been able to see out of them right, Tasco and Burris no problems)

Don't know much about ATN, but you can't go wrong with a Leupold.

Spending money on a cheap scope is a waste of money.  The Leupold will last you a lifetime.

I personally would go withe the Leopold.  The old adage ( you get what you pay for) rings true every time. Or ( you cant hit it if you cant see it)

I Personally would check out the Nightforce line of scopes I do not know If I will ever own anything else.  I like mine better than my Leopold, or my Zeiss.

Just my .02

If it's strictly between those two, I'd go with the Leupold. If you're open to suggestions, I'd go with the SS 10x.
