Gentlemen,

...Ordnance plan on hitting a production rate of 1000 M1 Garand Rifles per day at Springfield Armory ?

NEED a FEW HITS my hits are down to about 60  a day and the BOSS needs about 100 a day. The Boss is looking for a few Sponsers to stay alive. Thanks

Sorry, a bit off topic, but I was looking at your site and saw the pic of the "146 M1 for Automatic fire" and had a question or two.  It appears form the notation on the picture that in addition to feeding from 20 round boxes it could also use 8 round enbloc clips??

If you are looking for some hits on your site, anything you can post about that rifle would probably bring some interest!  I would certainly be interested to know more about that prototype.  I have also heard there was an early magazine fred prototype of the M1 Garand prior to the enbloc clip version, and would be interested to see some info about that too...

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the comeback. Yes, Mr. Garand in 1920 had a 20 rd box feed mag rifle built I have a photo of it and its breakdown. Ordnance said no.
