Anybody else have the front screw on the scope mount crack the black synthetic handguard when you tightend the side bolt? If so, what did you do about it? Any suggestions out there? Thanks!

obviously you will want to replace the hand guard. wood or plastic you can inlet it to clear the screw with a file or dremel tool or contact dan at dansshootingsupply.com he has allen head set screws that fit . good luck

Most hardware stores should have the set screw that you would use to replace the screw ARMS uses (the set screw has no head to interfere with the hand guards). I believe the one I use is a 6-40 thread 3/16 in length.

I just filed a notch in the handguard to releive the screw.
