i bought me one of them banfree RRA m4's and it's cool and all but my M1A rains supreem indeed ! at 200 yards i was hitting 20" diameter hard rocks with faint reports from the 223  and i was having trouble keeping the mouse gun on target to light for me . the m1a was up to the task of rock demolition with heavy reports of white dust clouds and a very loud pop ,the weight of the m1a seems to keep the wiggle factor down for me and the hit ratio was very high for the m1a.

after getting the new toy (M4) i had that feeling of a new toy, but after my range report i was bonding with my M1A all over like it was the new gun

GUYS if you ever see my m1a posted for sale please kick my butt and remind me how much i love it !

Different tools for different jobs. I like them both. BTW, I take it your name is/was your rate? Where/When did you go to school? I went to AS school at NAS Memphis a long time ago. But I was a Marine.

Better comparison would be 20" HBAR to M1A.

The M4 is designed for convenience, not accuracy at distance... 14.5" bbl & all...
