Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SA M-21 stock BIY?

Hello everyone,

I have an IDF-M14 from SA. This rifle makes me very happy except the rough stock. It is a black fiberglass stock with an odd cheek piece.

The stock of SA M-21 looks nice. It is walnut with adjustable cheek piece. Does anyone know where to get such stock or even think of BIY from USGI M-14 stock?

This is just an idea. Any kind of inputs are welcome.

rooster33 up in British Columbia, Canada makes and sells a very nice adjustable cheek piece for the M14 type rifle.  He's got a web site but I don't recall the URL.  If you go to www.m14forum.com and "poke around" there is some information there regarding rooster33's web site and the cheek piece.
