I saw where Ron charges $250.00 to shorten a USGI barrel to 18".
 I would wait untill Wilson Barrels starts shipping new barrels next month.

Ron did some M1A work for me, I was VERY happy with the work. Fast turn-around time also.

I can only assume you didn't see an earlier post. Wilson is coming out with NEW CHROME LINED BUSH & STD BARRELS IN OCTOBER.

Give George Gardner at Ga Precision a call he did some work on my M1A and it shoots nice. Plus he's reasonably priced and he has good turn around times.
