Congrats to you rag.
I suggest a nylon M14 "issued" sling if you can find one. New bayonets may be hard to find.I have seen some really nice used ones though at a good price. List of desirable items include: ARMS #18 mount spare parts Scott Duff book (gotta have) plenty of ammo (lots & lots of ammo) Of course a range report is required too  HTH |

I only heard good things about them.
Just get what YOU want since it's your rifle and you'll be using it. Have fun with it and buy plenty of ammo. |

The Turner sling is what I have on my pre ban.

The M1907 Sling isn't what was used with the M14. Bayonet and Turner (M1907) sling are just so tacky together.
Get the M1 Sling, the same one used with the M1 thru M16. -- Chuck |
