Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - First range trip with my "new" Dane SA VAR

I just took my newest edition to the family out to the range to test fire and sight her in. She performed flawlessly. Prone, supported I could put rounds through a quarter sized hole pretty much all day from 25yrds. It was hotter than hell so I didn't spend enough time to fire at any farther distances. I just wanted to test fire and get a basic zero. She's a very nice shooting rifle. I shoot it better than my AR's. Not bad for an almost 60 year old rifle. Worth every penny.

CMP doesn't sell them anymore. Was going to order one as my next purchase.
Have to wait and see about the Greeks.
