what is the serial number range for prebans

I was told the serial numbers go as high as 90,000 (by Peggy in sales).Just call Peggy at Spfld Inc. as she can help and provide accurate info. you need.
Sorry, I don't have the number since I can't find my digital rolidex.Maybe someone else can help with that.

How is any M1A a preban?  I thought that they were legal as is sold by Springfield.

In very simple terms of what U. S. law requires, if an M1A rifle was originally assembled after 09-13-94 it is not allowed a bayonet lug.  The matter is more complicated but that is the practical effect of the 1994 ban on the M1A.
