While adding to the Glock collection yesterday, I saw one of these in .223.  That looks like a cool little rifle, to take to the ranch and kill shit with.

Please tell me more about them.  Are they decently accurate?   Seems I've read about guys say the NA guns shoot decently, especially given for what they are budget wise.

Thanks guys.

I have the 7.62x39 version, and it is a great shooting rifle. My next one will be in 5.56, the ranch version that takes ar mags.

I have the 7.62x39mm version, the .450BM version, and will be getting the .223/5.56mm version soon.

The 7.62x39mm has quickly become my favorite gun, it's so much fun to shoot. It also shoots ~1.75 inch groups at 100yds, using cheap-ass Tula ammo.

Haven't had a chance to try the .450 yet.

I'm fairly certain you will like the 450 Bushmaster as well!  You have a nice setup with that red dot.

My RAR 450 has impressed me. I free floated the stock and did the standard trigger mod and it will usually put 2 rounds in an oblong hole and one about an inch away at 100. Groups well at 200 also. Hoping to kill some pigs with it this weekend. I'll probably get the new .223 AR mag version eventually.

What's a  standard trigger mod? I have the 450B and I did try to reduce trigger pull with adjustment screw as per directions but it didn't seem to do anything. I ok with it as is though. Working up reloads now.

Disassemble the trigger until you can remove the trigger spring (the one you are adjusting with the screw) and cut about 1 & 1/2 coils off of it. I agree that the adj screw itself doesn't do much. Some people also remove the trigger blade and the little spring that goes in it but I left those in.

Have the x39 version as well, light and handy! The ranch version is perfect for a grab and go rifle with enough capacity to not worry.

I liked everything about mine in 5.56 except the stock and the accuracy.  The stock sucked donkeys and I couldn't get it to shoot under 1.5" at 100 with different match loads.  Even had a friend who is an excellent rifle shooter try without success.  The action was super smooth and it fed great from the provided mag.

Sold it and bought a Remington SPS which right out of the box printed groups half the size of the Ruger.  The magazine on the SPS sucks but I can fix that with a Magpul DBM, and the stock is much nicer.

I've got the .300AAC and the 7.62 x 39.  I'm thinking these might end up being sort of a Model 94 for bolt actions.

I realize the big push to buy tomorrow so as to overwhelm the gov’t process, but my small dealer isn’t open weekends...so bought
my RAR 7.62x39 today. Hope I’m not kicked out of the club.

I just picked mine up Monday and hope to have it shooting tomorrow, well I mean today for me. I bought a Boyd’s pro varmint that was bedded to a different rifle before I even bought my rifle. Put them together and they seem to be a perfect fit, I suppose accuracy will tell that tale. So far I love it, handy, lightweight ish, and very simple. I debated and debated about the new AR mag version...and my final decision was if I want close to a minute rifle with 30 rounds I’ll shoot my AR instead of my bolt gun. Seems counter productive for me to put a 30 round or 20 or even 10 round mag on a bolt gun.

PS...it’s the little one with a green stock and it’s definitly 300 blackout!!!
