i recently completed my first efile form 1 for a sbr

am i correct in thinking i send only the cover letter and the fingerprint cards to martinsburg ?

I just got mine approved.
I sent the cover letter and 2 sets of prints for each RP.
Mailed 6/14.
Approved 7/8

Correct. You send the cover letter and two completed fingerprint cards.

You also have to send the pages labeled "CLEO copy" to the CLEO you listed on the form

Yep, that’s it.

You know, like the instructions say



If you weren’t planning on it, it’s nice to send it with a tracking # so you know when it gets there

They are required for each RP who has authority in the corporation.

What is the cover letter?

Do you mean the cover of the 5320.26 or the Form 1?

New to this too. Can you do the Form 1 with a trust? Do I still need to send the CLEO copy mentioned above?

honest question, why bother with a form 1 sbr and not keep it in a pistol configuration?  you can still travel out of state with the pistol without notifying the AFT.

That's always an option any time he wants to reconfigure it back into a Title I pistol.
Some people want real stocks.

SBR registration gives you more options, not less.

ah, that’s the missing part for me. I didn’t realize you could reconfigure after transferring to and sbr. thanks!
