My 10.5 LMT runs best with a standard carbine buffer.  H2 would cause some issues.

I haven’t tried an H1.

Mine as well. The h2 doesnt lock back on an empty mag.

I have also not tried an h1 yet.

Odin makes an adustable buffer, might try that.

Milspec spring and H2 buffer, never an issue.  Use a M4 upper on the same lower, never change a thing.

DD MK18, normal carbine spring with H2 buffer, GTG.

I run H3's in both BCM 11.5" and MK18, suppressed and unsuppressed. No issues with either with 5.55 ammo.

I run a X buffer all the time on a 11.5 that I suppress sometimes, it’ll run fine.  Ran same config in a 10.3 also and it ran fine.  At first we ran H3 unsuppressed and X suppressed, but it was annoying to swap them.

I have a Colt factory 10.3” barrel and running colt buffers with a plain Colt standard carbine spring. I don’t get bolt bounce with an H1/H2/H3 (verified by slowmo cellphone video) and it locks back on all 3 unsuppressed with good M193 ammo.

I choose to run the H3 with a silencer attached but I switch to an H2 when unsuppressed. Without the extra pressure, the H3 RPM is just too slow for my tastes and the H2 suppressed cyclic rate starts to get a bit sporty. RPMs are about the same between the unsuppressed H2 and suppressed H3.

The cyclic rate of the H1 cycles just TOO fast even without the silencer. It definitely starts throwing brass way forward with some gusto. I can’t imagine the RPM with a suppressed H1 or CAR buffer on my 10.3”

H2 and SpringCo Blue plus a Gemtech suppressor bolt carrier.

Runs great and no gas to the face.

Noveske 10.5 inch...

I only run H2, with normal spring.  My 10.3" (with .070 gas port) runs perfect suppressed and unsuppressed.  Same with my 14.5" guns.

Yeah man...thats what I ended up getting. Like I said...its for the DD MK18 10.3 with the same size gas port.
Thanks and to all that gave some input, thanks!

Isn't all set up yet. Need to get a stamp on it, and get sopmod stock for it.

I have a DD 10.3 that I run with a bootleg adjustable carrier, a standard carbine buffer, and a JP polished spring. The rifle will not run steel case ammo. Brass case runs and ejects to the 4 to 5 o clock position.

10.3 with .070 gas port and a KVP 4.3 ounce buffer. It's only .3 ounces less than an H2 and I can run .223 and 5.56 reliably.

I was running a Colt H2 buffer paired with a Colt carbine spring. Recently switched the spring to the Damage Industries $5 spring to get rid of the “sproing” sound shooting suppressed.

FWIW, if you called Noveske, they would tell you to run the H2.

I have an A5 setup with their H2 and it runs well. I don't know if they're the same.

Yes.

In a short barrel carbine gas 5.56 rifle.

Read the Crane report.

I run a Colt H2 in my MK18 (Colt factory 10.3" barrel with colt spring) when unsuppressed and an H3 in it when suppressed (Turbo K).

Rate of fire starts to get a bit too quick with the can and just the H2 (900+ rpm).

H2 is standard for 10.3" and 14.5" for SOCOM guns.  That's semi/automatic in suppressed/unsuppressed.  Standard carbine recoil spring.

If you are using a 10" SBR upper (or really any upper), get an A5 buffer tube setup. I like the "Amphibian" setup with the A5 tube, Tubbs flat spring, and Kynshot RB5007 buffer.

Same here except with a AndroCorp Crane spec 10.3".  The Carrier made HUGE difference in the gas!

I also use a H2 and SpringCo blue with a DD civi 10.3" (with adjustable gas block tuned to run unsuppressed) barrel and it runs great.

I use the H2 buffers in an 8.5" and 10.5" barreled pistols.  No issues so far.  Oh, standard carbine buffer springs.

I run spikes T-3 buffers with Geissele buffer spring in every SBR I own ... 14.5, 12, 10.5, and a 7.5"

in full disclosure, I run them all suppressed 90% of the time, all with bootlegg adjustable carriers

its the best combo I have found

i have a colt H2 and a colt H3. I been running the H3 in my DD MK18 and a M4 2000. Zero issues with the H3. I havent used the H2 because I never switched the H3 out. I think the H2 would of run just as well
