ACOG TA33 on SBR - AR15.COM

Finally got my Form 1 back for a 11.5" Noveske Switchblock SBR build. (Check cashed 29 Dec, form in hand today, paper, individual)

Anyway, I've got to decide on an optic, I have a T2, TA11, Accupoint 1-4X already, so I've narrowed it down to a TA33 or I don't know what. This will be a strolling around the woods/varmints of opportunity rifle. (coyotes/woodchucks)

I'll be using my Saker/brake mount full time, hopefully the suppressor doesn't fly down range.

So, TA33 or wat?

My TA33G-H is my favorite optic. I have a T1 on my 10.5" and my TA33 on my 14.5", but I've thought a few times about putting it on the 10.5" and selling the T1. Last time I checked, sanman28 has a TA33 in the EE for an awesome price.

It's a good combo.

This one has an 11.5" barrel. Have shot it out to 300 yards or so.

I wouldn't trade my TA33 for anything on my 11.5", its a hell of a combo

Have run a similar ACOG on M1A and numerous AK's for years and love it. You'll be pleased with the ACOG.

I have a ta33 on a kac11.5" and I love it. I have used a t1, nightforce nxs 1-4x, aimpoint M4, trij 4x acog, and I prefer the TA33.

I'm a big fan of the TA33. Have one on a 16" mid length and love it. I just recently put a TA47 (2x) on my 11.5" and am really liking it. Zeroed for 50 yards. No BDC to be "off" (not actually sure how off the TA33's BDC would be on an 11.5) and drive my OCD crazy.

I have a TA47 on my 8" 300blk. I love it for that rifle. It has the 9moa triangle. Zeroed the tip @50 yards with 110gr.

The BDC is a little off on my 11.5" shooting 75gr reloads, but I've shot it so much that I intuitively know how much to hold to to 5-600 meters.
