NFA TRUST/SBR Question

If I already have a trust, and there is a lower owned by the trust, when I fill out the ATF Form 4, what do I put in the 3a box, as Transferor?

It seems that the lower is already the property of the trust, and cannot be built out entirely until the stamp comes back, but technically there is no transfer per se.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You use Form 1, not Form 4 to make a SBR.

You use Form 1, not Form 4 to make a SBR.

BTW: I dont believe you have to add the item to schedule A on the trust until it is approved by ATF because I dont believe it is not a SBR lower until the stamp comes back and you engrave your trust info on the lower.

Thanks very informative website! I already have a lower on the schedule A since I knew I was going to build it out when I formed the trust.
