I'm SBR'ing my LT lower, and while I'd love to have a Stealth SBR upper, 12" isn't short enough for me, to make it "worth it".  So, I'd like to know your opinions on what brands of uppers (I'm kinda stuck on an LMT, myself), but more importantly, what muzzle device for it.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Surefire brake, but on a 10.5, I'm sure it'd just be all too much.

So, what say you?

I have a kx3 on my 7.5 diplomat upper and it tames the noise and flash very well. Not to mention helping with cycling issues that plague some SBR's

I have a Spikes STAB on my 7.5" SBR. Works as advertised...

I personally wouldn't run a KXF unless the gun needed it to function, it is just too long and heavy.

I am just going to run a cheap A2 until I buy a suppressor, then I will switch to what ever QD mount it accepts.

If the A2 is to loud and I decide that I want to project the noise forward, I would try a Troy Claymore (unless your SBR needs a KXF to run).

If you buy a Gemtech Halo you won't even have to switch muzzle devices all you have to do is replace your crush washer with the peal washer that gemtech sends with there suppressor.

I've got a flaming pig on my 7.5", runs great. Zero regrets.

I tried a Troy Claymore on my 7.5" Noveske Diplomat because I wanted to see if I could shave a little weight. The Claymore does absolutely nothing to effectively direct the blast forward. The Noveske Flaming Pig works as advertised and is a vast improvment over all others on a 7.5"er. My Diplomat is chambered in 6.8 SPC as I wanted a 7.5"er that would have good terminal ballistics for HD or any CQB application.

ETA: The Pmags are just for this picture.  Magpul does not make 6.8 SPC Pmags but my Barrett 30 rounders are longer and the SBR would not sit still for this picture with the barrett's inserted.
