I'd look for a different barrel first.
The gun will need to be disassembled to get the barrel into a lathe. You might be able to find someone that would mill threads, but the gun will need to come at minimum partially apart to get it into a holding fixture. Bubba can do it with a die, and it might work out okay. Not the way I would bet. |

It could, but you only have about half of what's called out for thread length (diameter is fine).

Could instead have an adapter machined and then brazed on so you have more spout length.

As long as you have a decent shoulder everything will be fine. I'd thread as-is. |

I have other barrels bit this is the only one that has the meat required to work with this front site. Any recommendations for a smith? I rarely do custom work and wouldn't know where to start. Matt |
