What type of machinist is required to do this....if possible?

Take the fake suppressor and have it cut so it screws off leaving about 1/2 inch left on (see seam in picture)
Not sure if even possible as I don't believe its very thick.
Also, not sure how the threading would be asking which is why I am inquiring if even possible.

Probably be cheaper to just get a piece of tube that size and thread it. You would likely be able to find that through the form 1 parts list under the NFA tab
