When did Winchester quit using top eject and go to the angle eject?
Yesterday I found a Win94 top eject, great shape almost looks NIB.  $350.00.

I can't find my Winchester book, but I think that the top eject models are pre 1964 production.

edit to add

If in good shape, $350 doesn't sound like a bad price at all.  I paid near that for my '94 .32 win special about twenty years ago.

I found the angle eject started in '84.

now I just have to figure out when they started to use the lever safety.

If you are refering to the little button that is depressed by closing the lever, apparently they started making them that way in '94. (1894 that is.)

Here is a link to a page describing the second earliest First model Saddle ring carbine known to still be in existence. It is serial number 791 and shipped in 1894 and is chambered in .38-55.

If it doesn't have the receiver mounted safety buy it.
